HOW TO JOIN CUB SCOUT PACK 175
It's a great year for scouting, and we're thrilled you're interested in enjoying it with Pack 175!

Ready to join? You'll need to become a member of BSA and register with our pack. You must be a BSA member and be fully registered with Pack 175 to do many of our larger events, including camping.
Step 1: Become a member of BSA
Apply for a BSA membership for your youth at any time. 2024 membership fees are $85 (plus a sign-up fee) and lasts for a 12-month membership cycle. You may renew their membership on the anniversary of their joining date.

Step 2: Register with Pack 175
Once your youth is signed up with BSA, you'll also need to register with our pack. Our signup opens in mid-August, and membership follows the school year to the following summer. We use the CheddarUp platform to collect your information, forms and activity fees.
Registering with Pack 175 takes about 15-20 minutes. If you close your browser window, your information will not be saved. Steps include:
- Pay our activity fee ($100 annually)
- Fill out all required information
- Upload your health forms (You must submit a BSA Part A and B form for your scout and a form form any adults participating with them. The form will be valid for campouts and activities for 1 year.)
- We encourage all parents to take the online Youth Protection Training (Login requires the my.scouting.org login you created when signing up with BSA)
Because our costs-per-scout stay roughly the same regardless of when you sign up, we typically do not pro-rate our activity fee for those joining later in the year.
Returning scouts
Already a member of Pack 175?
- Each fall, please register with Pack 175, pay your activity fee and turn in your health form.
- Renew your BSA registration when it expires (at the anniversary of your last registration) via my.scouting.org. BSA will send you a reminder as you are getting close.

All leaders (Den Leaders, Committee members, etc.) must complete a BSA Adult application which includes a background check as well as the online Youth Protection Training.
