Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 175
Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 175
For more than 80 years, Cub Scouts has provided fun for millions of children around the country and that fun awaits your child today!
Cub Scouts is an active program for girls and boys, grades K-5, that encourages learning, friendship, and most of all fun! Kids learn by doing, and there is no end to the fun things that Cub Scouts do with their families, Cub Scout Packs, and at special events. Camp under the stars. Tie knots. Visit a police station. Shoot a bow and arrow. There is no limit to the fun things your Scout will do.
Pack 175 has been going strong since 1955! We are comprised of Scouts primarily from Glennwood, Oakhurst, Winona Park, The Museum School, Westchester, FAVE, Talley Street and other Decatur-area schools.
We typically meet on Sundays. Pack meetings (all the scouts of all ages) are usually every 3rd Sunday of the month at 3pm, and there are approximately two den meetings (smaller groups, by grade) per month. We take several annual trips including camping at our private campground at Lake Allatoona, attending Bert Adams Trailblazer and Bert Adams Summer Camp, and a Spring Outing that takes us to places like the Okefenokee Swamp, USS Yorktown, Rock Eagle, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and other awesome destinations!
